The Canon 50mm F1.4 USM drives me crazy with it’s haziness at F1.4 and even F2.0. I had this lens for many years, and while I was able to get some memorable photos from it, I agree with you 100% that it wasn't that good until about f/2.8. I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it either.
The Fujifilm XF 90mm F2 R LM WR lens boasts a metal mount, high-grade metal barrel and non-rotating 62mm filter thread. The focus ring is generously wide, smooth and beautifully well-damped in action without being loose, and has a ridged, rubberised grip band. There are no “hard stops” at either end of the 60cm-infinity focus range though.

A sleek short telephoto prime for FUJIFILM X-series mirrorless cameras, the silver XF 50mm f/2 R WR offers a 76mm equivalent focal length to suit a variety of applications, including portraiture and still lifes.
At 87 x 103.5mm, the Fujifilm Fujinon XF50mm f1.0 R WR is large for a 50mm lens, but it’s actually not too dissimilar in size from the Fujinon XF16-55mmF2.8 R LM WR which measures 83.3mm x 106.0mm (wide) / 129.5mm (telephoto) and weighs 655g. I used the Fuji XF50mm f1.0 R WR on the X-T4 and it felt really good, not too front-heavy or oversized.

The XF 50mm f/2 R WR is the third addition to the range of lenses sometimes referred to as "Fujicrons": small and lightweight, yet sturdy primes with a maximum aperture of f/2. The Fujinon offers a field of view that is roughly equivalent to a 75 mm lens on a full frame camera, a focal length that is quite popular on traditional rangefinder
xyKzNsO. The 50mm f2 leads with the shortest distance available and the highest magnification. In other words, you can get closer to an object or a person with it than with any of the other lenses. The Fujifilm XF 50-140mm f/2.8 R LM OIS WR is up there with the sharpest lenses Fujifilm has on offer. The 56mm f/1.2 and the 90mm f/2 are perhaps the sharpest Fujifilm lenses I have used, and the 50-140mm gives them a run for their money across the entire zoom range. The corners are perhaps a tad soft at f/2.8 but you have to look to see it.

Achieving the perfect balance between size and performance, the black XF 35mm f/2 R WR from FUJIFILM is an elegant normal-length prime featuring a compact profile and apt image quality.
