Nqi99. The first game of GoT took about 6 hours and patience was starting to wear thin and eventually people started king-making just to end the game quicker. In retrospect, as I was teaching the game, I should have had a much smaller game first with perhaps 3 or 4 players.

It trims down the required number of players to 4, and provides private and public objectives to give players something to shoot for outside of just raw territory control.
