My binds on those slots usually go in an order. My primary weapon is assigned on 1 (Pistols, SMGs), Slot 2 (Ranged weapons, AR and Snipers), 3rd slot (Shotguns) and the 4th and 5th slots are either event items, heals or for rotation purposes (Hammers, jump pads, etc) Honestly, once you get used to a layout, it'll feel automatic during fights

Even the best builder of my crew can't come close to that speed on a controller and it just feels unfair. Personally, I also prefer zero build because it makes the environment matter. Build is just everyone all the time in a killbox edit toggling windows. No one hides in a bush, or dumpster or port-o-potty or behind a tree or under stairs.
I just went up a bit on my sense. From . 02 and 700dpi to .04 and 1100 dpi. It's still slow as hell compared to most players. But it's enough for me to build reliable 1v1 on scrims and the aim speed is manageable. Taylor1350 •. I still think good aim and tracking is rewarded. Especially for shotgun shots.
First try making your sensitivity a little higher. It helped me respond to situations faster and track opponents more easily. Second, ensure you have turbo build on with builder pro controls because those help a lot with building especially for my next tip. That next tip is practicing the button patterns for building certain structures.
Then, I mapped the keyboard input for Fortnite to the controller and added motion aiming by adding mouse input via gyro (using the middle square with the gyro icon on the controller layout). The gyro was super sensitive, so I had to decrease sensitivity a little bit and I added one or two clicks to 'movement threshold' under additional settings.

Ok-Wave3287. • 2 mo. ago. Check your mouse and keyboard settings, there's one that disables controller input. 2. Misanthropys. • 2 mo. ago. Fortnite is really weird for controllers on pc, ps4 controllers only work on fortnite if they are plugged in. Even if you were to buy a "dongle on Amazon" to try and fix this problem and play wirelessly
Your best bet would be to find a place to bind “Next Piece” somewhere on your controller in build mode, and use that to swap to building pieces you wish to rotate. Even turning off “turbo build” in the settings won’t let you select a building piece via its dedicated button without placing it.
1: Press pickaxe button twice to pull out shotgun -> edit wall. 2: Press build mode button to exit build mode and pull out pickaxe (because that is what you held before you entered build mode when you took the opponent's wall) > press pickaxe button to pull out (first inventory slot) shotgun -> edit wall. 3: press pickaxe button once to (exit
Nah it's actually like way better. Resetting on controller is super clunky and slow and from what i've seen antimicro is basically the same as scrollweel. 2. •. [deleted] •. •. The console player replying below probably wasn’t trolling, you simply bind edit to one button and confirm to another easily accessible button.
